The Izh43 shotgun is a double-barrled World War II era shotgun found in DayZ.

The Izh43 shotgun deals out a moderate amount of damage, is quite loud and has a short effective range. It can quickly dispatch a zombie or player at close-range, but its limited two round capacity can prove fatal in multiple encounters.

The shotgun can be uncommonly found in residential and farm type loot spawns, and inside deer stands.[1]

An Izh43 can be crafted into a Sawed-off Izh43 with a hacksaw.

Game history

The Izh43 shotgun was added into the loot tables in the 22 January 0.32.114557 update.[2]
